Deep Dive

With &Coach, Coach hopes to break from traditional luxury marketing conventions and further cater to Gen Z's preference for co-creation, emphasizing co-creation and unpolished storytelling. The handbag maker is working to solidify its positioning as a brand that "adds value to consumers' personal identities," rather than astatus symbol

&Coach brings together trendsetters and emerging names from music, film, sports, fashion, and activism to reinforce its messaging. The project was developed with support from United Talent Agency's Next Gen Practice and creative agency Marcel, in collaboration with a group of Gen Z creatives.

"This generation doesn't want to inherit a preset version of aspiration—they want to shape their own identity and be part of it," Coach Chief Marketing Officer Joon Silverstein said in a statement.

The announcement highlights how &Coach partners participate, such as Charli XCX'sreflective moment as she enters the next album promo cycle, or how NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger finds her place in a male-dominated sport.

Consistent with typical Gen Z-focused marketing, &Coach is social-first, with new @and.coach TikTok and Instagram accounts serving as content hubs. Coach says it will expand &Coach over the long term through new ambassadors, community engagement, and cultural moments.

Other notable faces associated with &Coach include pop singer PinkPantheress, professional basketball players Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd, K-pop group KiiiKiii, and Heartstopper actor and activist Yasmin Finney, among others.

&Coach echoes Coach's recent marketing campaigns, including theSpring 2026 "Find Your Story" campaign, which also emphasized Gen Z co-creation. "Find Your Story" also featured some of the same celebrities as &Coach, including Bueckers and Japanese singer-songwriter Lilas.

"When consumers see themselves in the brand and feel like they are building the brand with us, it's more powerful," Silverstein said during a Marketing Dive virtual event in February. "I think our spring campaign is a great example."

Coach parent company Tapestry (which also owns Kate Spade New York) continues to show strong momentum despiteweakness elsewhere in the luxury fashion market. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, ending March 28, Coach revenue grew 31% year over year. Tapestry raised its full-year outlook, projecting sales of $7.95 billion.
