Domino's Pays Customers to Participate in Public Beta Testing of New App and Website
Domino's Pizza started a paid public beta campaign in August, where customers can get a $5 discount by ordering through the new app or website to collect experience feedback. The campaign was planned by agency WorkInProgress and covers TV, online video, and social media channels.

Domino's Pizza will offer customers who use its new digital ordering system a $5 discount on their next order this month, according to a press release. The move aims to encourage customers to share feedback on its recently relaunched website and app experience, and is supported by a new marketing campaign from agency WorkInProgress.
"We've streamlined our website and app to be bolder, brighter, more modern, and more engaging, but we want to hear from customers," said Mark Messing, Domino's global vice president of digital marketing, in a statement.
Customers who place qualifying online orders between August 3 and 30 are eligible for a $5 coupon to use on a digital order the following week. Customers do not need to provide feedback on their ordering experience to receive the discount.
In addition to the promotional offer, Domino's has launched a marketing campaign that will run on TV, online video, social, and digital channels through August 30. A15-secondand a30-second adshow various consumers in different scenarios—moving, playing mahjong, doing yoga,live-action role-playing (LARPing)and procrastinating college students—all of whom can use the offer.
The creative soundtrack features "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service, and the campaign also includes a collaboration with content creator Corporate Natalie, who will promote the offer on LinkedIn and other channels. The brand in Marchlaunched a social-first campaignusing influencers, content creators, and the podcast "Friends Keep Secrets."
"Being a Domino's public tester is the easiest job," said Matt Talbot, co-founder and chief creative officer of WorkInProgress, in a statement. "You get paid to order pizza. No coding, debugging, or quality reports required."
The marketing campaign around the relaunched website and app aligns with Domino's focus on digital channels—in 2025, more than 85% of the company's U.S. retail sales came from digital channels. Domino's U.S. same-store sales grew only 0.1% in the second quarter of 2026, asconsumers remain under pressure from high prices, but the chain may bethe company most likely to win in a category with stagnant sales。
Domino's in Marchupdated its iconic pizza tracker, an industry-first technology that has tracked over 2.5 billion orders since 2008. The updated tracker uses an AI engine to provide more precise times and offers Live Activities for iOS users.
